Borage

Meditation with Borage (from the book)

I ask the borage plant for permission to eat a flower and sit in meditation.

The sun warms the back of my heart. My chakra centers are like flower blossoms, opening. I can hear her speaking both from the center of her flower and also the pointed ends of her flower petals. The sound it creates is an echo.

Come, she says.
Come, as the echo, the whisper, after . . .

Do not be fooled by my daintiness and my softness.
Do not be fooled by my daintiness and my softness.

Do not get too comfortable with yourself in my presence.
Do not get too comfortable with yourself in my presence.

Allow yourself to be light.
  Allow yourself to be light.

Do you see the deep tunnel in the center of my flower?
Do you see the deep tunnel in the center of my flower?

Together we will travel the time folds of the universe.
Together we will travel the time folds of the universe.

This is the doorway beyond places, spaces, and time.
This is the doorway beyond places, spaces, and time.

This is the portal between generations.
This is the portal between generations.

I will open the doorways to the yet unborn.
I will open the doorways to the yet unborn.

Through me you can sit in conversation and learn your pure potential.
Through me you can sit in conversation and learn your pure potential.

I will teach you to bring this perspective to your life.
And I will teach you to bring this perspective to your life.

And you will meet life with courage; you will be unafraid.
And you will meet life with courage; you will be unafraid.

There is a portal in the center of her flower that opens when we are in her presence.
There is an invitation to join her there, like sitting at the entrance of the Universal Womb.
