All the paintings in this book were created from plants growing in my garden throughout the four seasons. I would start each day of painting by taking care of each plant and the plants around it. All of the plants responded to my care, creating a place for me to connect with their essence, with my own connection to the earth, and to the wild beauty.
Painting is an opportunity to simply be present in each moment with plants as my guides. It’s a process of opening to the intuitive energy of creation. For me, it is a place of great freedom.
Each painting, like each plant, is a totally unique expression of the magic of life. It is a great honor and pleasure for me to be able to share this with you.
